
Richard is a Registered Representative with SagePoint Financial, Inc., a registered
broker-dealer and member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority
(FINRA) and Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC). He joined
SagePoint in 1995. Prior to that time, Richard was employed by Shell Oil Company and its affiliates, working in economics, engineering, management and planning. While with Shell, he served on the Pecten Cameroon Company Board of Directors.
Richard completed the University of Houston Financial Planning program, a
series of courses to attain the CFP® designation. He has served on the
Program Committee, Education Committee, Membership Committee and Board
of Directors of the Houston Chapter of the International Association of
Financial Planning (IAFP) and served as a member of the Board of Directors of
the Houston Chapter of the Financial Planning Association (FPA). He is a
member of the American Association of Individual Investors.
Richard taught the short course, “Financial Strategies for a Successful
Retirement” for the University of Houston, Houston Baptist University and
LeTourneau University and for corporations and churches.
He is a Registered Representative with SagePoint Financial, Inc., a

(FINRA) and Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC). Houston Asset
Management, Inc. is a Registered Investment Advisor with the Texas State
Securities Board and Louisiana Commissioner of Securities, and not affiliated
with SagePoint Financial, Inc. In addition to holding Series 7, 63 and 66
securities registrations, Richard is licensed with the Texas State Board of
Insurance. His clientele includes executives, professionals and retirees in
several states.
Richard and Mary Lynn have two married daughters and seven grandchildren.
Richard has served as President of the Nottingham Forest Civic Association.
Richard and Mary Lynn are members of Tallowood Baptist Church.
